There are many reasons why you should study abroad, so it is great that you are considering such an incredible opportunity! Study abroad will not only help you learn and grow as a person, but it will also improve your resume and you’ll gain skills that employers in all fields value.
First, check out the different programs available through USF. There are many different types of programs, so don’t let all the decisions overwhelm you. It is helpful to first determine the length of program you want and your budget, then decide on a program from there. Also, make sure to read the FAQs, but always feel free to contact Maureen Stephan at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Once you’ve determined the type of program you are interested in, you will need to complete all the relative application materials for your program and submit them to the International Programs Office- Motherhouse Room 164.

English Language for Academic Purposes Program (ELAP)
The University of St. Francis is happy to welcome qualified international students to study in its undergraduate and graduate programs. Oftentimes, international students must improve their English language skills before beginning degree programs. ELAP is great preparation for international students or other non-native English speakers who would like to have intensive English training before starting their university program.

Every semester, a new group of international students arrives at USF. These students will face all of the same challenges as a student from the US, as well as facing the challenges to dealing with life in a new country.
Through Culture Connect, USF students will help to welcome and ease the transition for incoming international. The program will create opportunities for international and internationally-aware American students at USF to connect on a more personal level and develop a friendship that will help foster greater global awareness for both students.
