Experiential Learning Courses

The University of St. Francis (USF) recognizes that profound learning can occur in a variety of formal and informal settings. As a way to recognize and encourage continuous life-long learning, USF offers individuals an opportunity to demonstrate their learning in these unique settings in order to earn graduate credit for selected experiences outside the traditional classroom structure.

To be eligible to enroll as a Special Student for an Experiential Learning Course (ELC) offering, candidates must

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree
  • Provide evidence of completion for the experience(s) confirming that all attendance and assignment requirements have been met (evidence of completion will be provided by organization hosting the approved experience).

Tuition for Experiential Learning Courses
Tuition is for ELC graduate credit only and does not reflect costs/fees charged for the experience. ELC tuition varies by course and can be found on the corresponding registration page.
