Incoming Student Orientation and Registration

Student Orientation and Registration (SOAR) is for incoming freshman students who will be starting at the University of St. Francis in the fall of 2021. SOAR is a way for new students to register for classes, get to know USF better, and begin their lives as Saints!

SOAR Checklist

Pay your tuition deposit
To confirm your spot in our next Freshman class, we ask for a $100 deposit that will solidify your spot in our new class.

Register for classes! Click here to sign up below up for an appointment with your advisor to rregister.
* To register, YOU MUST be admitted to the University of St. Francis and have submitted your $100 tuition deposit.

Complete a housing application. 
Want to live on campus? Complete a housing application and make a $50 deposit.

Visit the MyUSF portal.
Continue to check your account in the portal for further information on financial aid, admissions status, billing and your schedule once you register.

Complete online orientation.
All new students must go through USF’s orientation. The Online Orientation helps new students learn more about USF. This includes resources about academic services, campus policies, and people who can help you.

Mark your calendar for Welcome Weekend – August 20-22, 2021. (See event schedules in “New Student Orientation” section below.) You will meet your fellow classmates, faculty and staff, as well as learn more in your transition to becoming a college student before classes begin on Monday, August 23.

New Student Welcome Weekend  | August 20-22, 2021

New Student Welcome Weekend is a series of informative sessions about USF. It provides an opportunity for new students to meet other students in their class while attending fun events. It also includes New Student Transfer Orientation on Friday, August 20, which provides transfers with specific information about their area of study, and allows them to build connections with other transfer students.
